St George’s Day 2019
Sunday 28th April saw the massed Crawley Scout troops march from St Wilfrid’s School to Tilgate Park for the annual St George’s day celebration and picnic. St George is the patron saint of Scouting and each year we renew our promises on this day.
Of course, 1st Crawley was there in force, complete with the Beaver’s and their fabulous dragon and some ever so slightly tired Scouts, having camped the previous night at Stanford.
