Coronation Capers
After a decidedly soggy Coronation Day, the next day saw fantastic weather for the Crawley District Scouts ‘Coronation Capers’ get-together at Stanford campsite.
There was loads to do for all ages, from woodcrafts and rope making, climbing and caving, archery and go-kart racing plus so much more.
The afternoon saw the highly anticipated tug-of-war competition. Huge congratulations to the 1st Crawley team who were victorious in the Scouts section!
With everyone full of barbeque, cakes and drinks, the day was finished off with a traditional camp fire and sing song.
A big thanks to all those involved in organising the event, the volunteers running the activities, and of course all the families and friends who came along and made it such a fun day.
